about us

Although Axis Machine & Tool LLC officially began operations in January of 2023, the roots of the company go much deeper.

The founder and owner, Erik Aagerup, started machining at 17 years old in a local Wisconsin Gundrilling shop. After two years of that, he moved to a Screwmachine shop while going to school for Tool & Die Making as well as CNC machining and programming.

After completing the Tool & Die apprenticeship he decided the trade was moving more strongly towards CNC machining. So his focus was dedicated there. After spending years in reputable companies, he decided it was time to build his own. 

That’s where we are today, 30 years later. A smaller but capable machine shop always looking to do things better, more efficient, and cost effective for our customers with quality and accuracy always being our first priority.
